This is the newest version of the Silvia introduced May 2009! New features include a ball-joint mounted, commercial style steam wand for improved milk frothing and a redesigned, ergonomic steam knob and portafilter handle. Loaded with professional grade features the Silvia is one of the finest single-boiler espresso machines on the market for home and office applications. Designed for the serious home barista, this impressive machine offers a polished stainless steel housing, heavy duty brass boiler, brass plumbing, commercial grade rocker switches, and a chrome plated brass brewing head and portafilter. The powerful 15 BAR pump effortlessly brews thick, rich espresso and the large capacity boiler produces tremendous steam pressure to quickly froth milk to prepare cappuccino and latte. A 3-way solenoid valve relieves residual water pressure from the brewing head and dispenses it in the drip tray when the brew switch is turned off to prevent dripping and minimize mess. Additional features include a cup warming surface, hot water dispenser and a large 67-oz. water tank.

Hot Water Dispenser: Steaming hot water can be dispensed from the steam wand for making an Americano, hot chocolate or tea.

Cup Warmer: A large cup warming tray on top of the Silvia uses radiant heat from the boiler to take the chill off your espresso or cappuccino cups.
